Lloyds Bank is a trading name part of Lloyds Banking Group, a group formed in 2009 from a merger between a number of well-known UK financial institutions, including Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland. Their shared history goes back centuries, starting in 1695 when Bank of Scotland was founded. Today, they are Britain's largest consumer bank.
